Digital product engineering studioKyiv · Remote across EU

Complex digital products.Without the chaos around them.

Strategy, design, engineering and infrastructure in one team — from the first sketch to production.

The system

Eight things we build, and the connections between them. Most products need more than one — pick any node.

Work

Products that are running right now.

Every case study links to the live build. Every number comes from the product itself, not from a deck.

Approach

Not every product needs to be built.

We work out the problem first and decide what to build second. Saying “you don't need this” costs us the project and keeps the relationship.

  1. 01

    Sometimes it is a website.

  2. 02

Sometimes it is an internal system.

  3. 03

Sometimes it is two days of automation.

  4. 04

Sometimes nothing needs building at all.

Idea to production

An idea does not become a product in one jump.

Here is the same product at every stage — from a problem written down to a system that holds under load.

  1. 01Idea

    A problem, not a brief

First we write down what has to change in the business. If it does not fit in one sentence, it is too early to build.

  2. 02Structure

    Skeleton and boundaries

Flows, screens, data — and what the first version will not have. Deleting a feature is cheapest right here.

  3. 03Interface

A design system, not a folder of screens

Components, states, tokens. Every next screen is assembled from what already exists, which is why the second one costs less than the first.

  4. 04Data

    A screen someone decides on

A dashboard is not a report. Every number on it is there because somebody has to act on it — the rest is decoration that costs money to keep.

  5. 05System

    What sits under the interface

Data model, services, queues, integrations. Architecture decisions are written down as they are made — with the reason attached.

  6. 06Production

    A release, not an event

Deploys, migrations, monitoring and alerts are working before the first real user. The rollback is planned before it is needed.

Why Silka

You don't have to assemble a team of five suppliers.

Every handoff between suppliers is a place where a decision loses the reason it was made for.

The usual way

Client

  • Designer
  • Frontend
  • Backend
  • AI contractor
  • DevOps

Five contracts, five schedules, and nobody who owns the outcome end to end.

Our way

Client

  • Strategy
  • Design
  • Engineering
  • AI
  • Infrastructure
  • Launch

One contract. Whoever designed the data model also owns what the interface looks like three months later.

One product. One team. One line of accountability.

Philosophy

We don't start with code.

A good product does not begin with a React component. It begins with understanding what the business is trying to change — and everything downstream is a consequence of that.

  1. 01BusinessWhat is the company actually trying to change?
  2. 02ProblemWhere does the work break down today?
  3. 03StrategyWhat is worth building, and in what order?
  4. 04UXHow does a person get the job done?
  5. 05ArchitectureWhat must be true for this to hold up?
  6. 06DesignHow does it look, read and feel?
  7. 07DevelopmentBuilding it, in working slices
  8. 08LaunchInto production, with a way back
  9. 09GrowthIterate against what people really do

Code is the seventh link. Everything before it decides whether the product holds.

By the time anyone writes code, the hard decisions are already made — and written down. That is why the estimate holds.

Got a product that should exist by now?Tell us about it.

Describe what has to change in your business. We will work out what that actually takes — including when it takes less than you think.
