01

Challenge

A business calling a law firm is usually already in trouble, and often on a deadline — a tax inspection has started, a claim has arrived, an account has been frozen. Speed of response is the differentiator, not the practice-area list.

Law firm sites are written for other lawyers. This one had to be written for a director who has twenty minutes and a problem.

02

Solution

Navigation is by situation — an inspection has started, a claim has arrived, a partner is leaving — with the relevant practice area behind each one.

The response commitment is treated as the primary product claim: stated in the hero, repeated at every decision point, and wired to instant notification so it is operationally true.

The firm's track record is presented as verifiable specifics rather than adjectives, which is the only kind of credibility that transfers in this market.

04

UX

Written for someone under pressure: short paragraphs, situation-first headings, and a consultation route visible from every screen without a modal interrupting the reading.

The form is deliberately minimal — under time pressure, every extra field is a reason to close the tab.

05

UI

Serious and quiet, closer to institutional than corporate. Typography does the work; there is almost no ornament.

The response commitment is the one element allowed visual emphasis, because it is the one thing the visitor is deciding on.

06

Development

Practice-area pages are generated from a content model with structured data, so each area is independently indexable for the queries a business in trouble actually types.

Enquiries route through a validated server action to instant messenger notification — the response promise is enforced by the plumbing, not by good intentions.
